What are the clinic hours?

Monday – Thursday 7:30am-8:00pm Friday 7:30am-5:30pm

What are the fees for physiotherapy treatment?

The fee for an assessment by a physiotherapist is $70. This visit normally takes one hour with the therapist. You will also receive a treatment during this visit. Treatments are $45 after the initial visit.

What are the fees for massage therapy?

How quickly can I get an appointment?

In general you will be able to have an assessment within a couple of days. Frequency of appointments after your initial assessment depends on your condition and will be discussed with you at your first visit.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?

Some insurance plans require a doctor’s referral for you to be reimbursed for payment. Check with your workplace or insurer. WSIB and auto insurance companies do not require a doctor’s referral to pay for physiotherapy treatment. If you are paying for physiotherapy treatment yourself then you do not need a doctor’s referral.

How can I pay for physiotherapy treatment?

We accept payment by cash, cheque, interac direct payment and VISA. Physiotherapy services are covered by most extended health care benefits offered through your employer. We request that you pay for services rendered weekly and then submit our invoice to you insurer for reimbursement.

Some plans require you to pay for some of the treatment, and some plans have a yearly maximum. Check with your insurance provider as some plans may require a physician’s referral.
If your coverage is through Greenshield we will bill them directly for you. If your treatment is covered by WSIB (Worker’s Safety and Insurance Board) or if you are receiving treatment as a result of a motor vehicle accident we will bill WSIB or your auto insurance directly.

Treatments are not covered by OHIP.

What should I bring to my physiotherapy assessment/treatment?

If you have a referral from your doctor, any paperwork from WSIB or your auto insurance, or any test results please bring it with you. It is helpful if you bring or wear appropriate clothing for the physiotherapist to be able to assess you - this may be shorts or a tank-top depending on your area of pain.
